Gentle Detox Yoga | Water Fasting Edition | Yin, Flow & Kundalini
Welcome to this special Gentle Detox Yoga class, filmed during my water fast!
This session is a unique blend of yin, flow, and kundalini yoga designed to help you detoxify, find balance, and connect deeply with your body.
Whether fasting or just looking to cleanse and rejuvenate, I hope this practice will support you on your journey.
During my current water fast, I’ve been practicing a very simple, Yin-style Flow Yoga to stay connected and balanced. While I’m not creating a new series on this fast, I want to point you to a series I made 13 years ago when I did a supervised 12-day water fast. I filmed nine videos during that experience, packed with insights and valuable information about fasting. I recently rewatched the series, and I’m excited to share it with you again.
If you’re interested in fasting or just curious, I highly recommend checking out my Fasting Playlist—it’s filled with timeless info that I think you’ll find really helpful.

I love starting my day and my yoga practice with some gentle rebounding on my Bellicon rebounder. It’s my go-to for getting the lymphatic system moving and loosening up the joints, especially during a fast when I want to keep things light and mellow. The Bellicon is truly the best rebounder out there, which led me to become an affiliate—after purchasing one for myself, I knew I had to share it. While fasting, I avoid intense workouts, so this gentle rebounding serves as a perfect warm-up, setting a calm and energized tone for my yoga practice.
If you’re interested in more rebounding videos, especially ones with a bit more energy, let me know!
After a light rebound session, I like to transition into a chill yoga sequence. You can hold these poses for as long as you feel comfortable—sometimes, I hold each pose for up to five minutes, making this practice last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes during a fast. If I wasn’t fasting, I might extend the session even longer, but it’s important to listen to your body and adjust the length based on how you’re feeling. In the video I provide some modifications along the way, I really hope you enjoy the Gentle Detox Yoga Class and find it brings you much benefit!
A special note: when doing partial or full inversions, it’s crucial to breathe deeply and come up slowly, especially while fasting, to avoid any lightheadedness or discomfort.
