How the 801010 Diet Masterclass Came Together

What started as a plan for a compact two to four hour mini course turned into something neither of us expected. Nine calls with Dr. Graham, each running two to four hours. Twenty-five hours of raw footage. Edited down to just under eighteen hours of content across five modules and 29 videos. Dr. Graham’s energy throughout was the same as it always is, generous, thorough, and completely unwilling to leave anything on the table.

Doug himself said it plainly: the 80/10/10 diet book gives you the information, and this course gives you the implementation. That is the best one-line summary I could offer. If you have read the book and still found yourself uncertain about how to actually do it in your life, this course was built for that gap.

It overlaps with the book by a small single-digit percentage. Everything else is new angles, new depth, new stories, and real application guidance that has not been covered anywhere else in his work.

How to Access It Once You Have the Bundle

Once you purchase the bundle you will receive an email with links to download all resources including the 801010 diet masterclass. For the masterclass specifically you download a PDF, open it, and click the large button near the end to create your profile on Xperiencify, the platform hosting the course. Use the same email address you used to purchase the bundle so the system can cross reference your access.

As soon as you create your profile a drip countdown timer begins. The course is structured across seven weeks intentionally, because each video comes with two downloadable fillable PDF handouts, a synopsis of the video content and a detailed action steps guide. The drip gives you time to actually use those rather than rushing through everything in a weekend.

That said, if you want to wait and go through it all at your own pace after everything unlocks, you can simply create your profile and let the weeks pass. Everything will be open after seven weeks and yours to work through whenever you are ready. Access is yours for life once the course is activated.

What Is Inside Each Module

The course opens with a welcome video, a how to use this masterclass guide, and a dedicated video on Dr. Graham himself before moving into the five main modules. The full 801010 diet ebook is also included digitally inside the course for anyone who does not already have it.

Module One: The Foundation covers how the book became a movement, the six pillars of well-being beyond food, and why fruit is not just acceptable but optimal as your primary fuel. By the end you will understand exactly where 801010 came from, why it works, and have the grounded confidence to stay the course no matter what questions or pushback you encounter.

Module Two: Eating Enough goes into calorie math, mono eating and meal structure, getting your greens right, and what Doug calls the hidden fat problem, the covert fats that silently undermine most raw vegan diets without people realizing it. By the end you will know how to calculate your needs, structure your meals with confidence, and identify where things tend to go quietly wrong.

Module Three: The Transition is the longest module and runs across two weeks for good reason. It covers what to expect as your body adapts, how to read your symptoms accurately and distinguish detox from undereating, navigating cravings and the one bite spiral, social life and family dinners, explaining your choices without preaching, and thriving in winter and northern climates. Every major sticking point most people hit is in here.

Module Four: The 801010 Body covers fueling athletic performance, glucose and brain function, health monitoring, the B12 question, working with skeptical doctors, and why people quit. This is the module that will give you the vocabulary and confidence to have informed conversations about your health with anyone, including medical professionals who are unfamiliar with this approach.

Module Five: The Long View runs across two weeks and nine videos. It covers acid and alkaline balance, food combining, the power of mono meals, greens and vegetables in the full picture, whether 801010 is a fruitarian diet, flexibility and the ratio over time, what thriving looks like at fifty years in, and what is actually possible for you. It closes with a vision of the long game that I think will stick with people for a long time.

A Nuance Most People Miss on Fat Ratios

Lissa asked me to share something from the course that people do not usually talk about and the overt versus covert fat distinction is a good one to name here.

When the 801010 diet was written the ten percent fat ratio was referring primarily to overt fats, meaning overtly fatty foods like nuts, seeds, and avocados. Covert fats are the fats inherent in all whole foods, fruits and vegetables included, and these typically sit around three to five percent of calories even when you eat no overtly fatty foods at all.

What that means practically is that if you are tracking on Cronometer and your total fat comes in anywhere between five and fifteen percent on a given day, you are still well within the 801010 framework. The ten percent ceiling people often stress about refers to overt fat only. That extra buffer zone removes a lot of unnecessary anxiety and rigidity that can make this lifestyle harder than it needs to be.

What Keeps Me Raw After 22 Years

Lissa asked me this near the end and the honest answer is two things working together. First, nothing else feels the same. The energy, clarity, sleep, recovery, and overall sense of aliveness that comes from this way of eating is not something I would trade. Second, the impact it has on everything beyond my own body. The ecology, the animals, the example it sets. There is no bigger daily choice available to any of us and I find that genuinely motivating rather than heavy.

We are stewards of this earth. Every meal is a vote. Choosing fruit and vegetables in their whole living state is love in action and it happens to be the sweetest juiciest way to live. That combination never gets old.
