So stoked to share about the Vitamix a3500 Gourmet SmartPrep Kitchen Systems!

This is literally an entire kitchen system that all fits on the same base for easy food prep and cleanup! The first part that I opened up is the brand new accent series 12-cup food processor attachment complete with multiple blades and grating options. A really cool thing about this Ascent series is that they are wireless with “Self-Detect” technology allowing you to use various attachments like this food processor container, that goes right on the main Vitamix Ascent series base and connects with a specific digital display program sharing the settings and power that are specific to that container. Something I like about this food processor attachment is that it’s 100% BPA free and dishwasher safe, beyond that I love that it’s 12 cups as that can handle a big portion like I usually make! 

A fun side note before we go on, this will be my second personal Vitamix blender in over 20 years! I got my first Vitamix in Vancouver Canada in early 2000 when I really got serious about my health journey, nearly a decade later I gave that one to my sister, she ended up buying her own and giving it to my brother, then my mom got her own as well. So excited and blessed by Vitamix hooking me up with this new Vitamix A3500 Gourmet SmartPrep Kitchen System, this is gonna be my baby for a long time, especially considering the amazing 10-year warranty! Cool to know that even the refurbished models that you can get for an amazing deal come with a three to five-year warranty and then most of the other new Vitamix models come with a full seven-year warranty. That said they are such good quality you are very very unlikely to need to use the warranty!

Something I absolutely love about Vitamix is the tamper, it may seem like a simple thing but it really makes all the difference. When you’re doing really intense jobs whether it’s nice creams or nut butters or thick sauces or pizza crusts or plantain pancakes for example, you really need a tamper to jam it right into the blades to help you to achieve the best smooth or at times chunky textures. The A3500 comes with five program settings (for Smoothies, Hot Soups, Dips & Spreads, Frozen Desserts, and Self-Cleaning) that automatically adjust to the container size you’ve selected, process your recipes, and stop by itself when the blend is complete. It also comes with a manual pulse function and speed dial so that you can custom blend to your specific needs. The built-in wireless connectivity will allow Ascent Series blenders to evolve with the latest innovations for years to come with any range of compatible container sizes, building a customized blending system designed to fit your needs.

Did you know that the Vitamix can blend so fast with its 2.2 horsepower motor that it actually can boil water? Now I don’t blend it that long to bring my food to a boil but I have been known to blend for a minute or so until it gets a little bit warm which can be really nice for some recipes. This is also helpful for the cleaning function, you just put some water and a little bit of soap in there, hit the clean button, and boom it cleans itself just requiring a quick rinse afterward!
