Today, I’m unboxing the new Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses. Let’s dive in!

I just got this package in the mail, and I haven’t opened it yet, so this is an official unboxing. Ooh, fancy! Let’s see what’s inside. Right on top, we have some items from Ray-Ban and Meta. If you don’t know, Meta is the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, and they’ve teamed up with Ray-Ban, the popular sunglasses brand, to create these smart glasses. This collaboration aims to connect you with your audience and document your life seamlessly.

The box includes some paperwork about returns in case you need it. Let’s look at the Wayfarer style, a classic Ray-Ban design that’s been around since the ’60s. Chances are you’ve worn or seen this style before. These aren’t just sunglasses; they’re equipped with a camera, camcorder, and speakers. Plus, I got the transition lenses which are clear inside and classic dark shades outside, which is really exciting and cool imho.

The box is nice, and there’s a web app you can connect to. The glasses come with 32 GB of storage and a faux leather case that doubles as a charging portal. Some people have a minor complaint that it doesn’t come with a USB-C cord, but you’re good to go as long as you have one. The case charges the glasses for about 32 hours, while the glasses last around 4 hours.

Let’s check these babies out. They’re already clear since there’s no UV light. How do I look? You can see the ring light reflection, but what do you think? To take a picture, hold down the button. There’s only one control on top, and you can slide your finger on the side to adjust the volume and skip tracks. You can take videos by clicking twice.

As well as live-streaming such as for my LIVE Walk and Talk AMA’s 

These glasses fit well, but I’ll probably get some safety straps for skating to ensure they stay on. I’m excited to see how the transition lenses work in the sun. Regarding concerns about Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I live in a world full of these technologies, and while it might not be ideal to wear them all day, the tradeoff is worth it for me for the cool shots and unique perspectives I can capture and share with all of you.

Ohh I almost forgot, the speakers are amazing; they make it sound like the music is in your ears while leaving them open and others cant hear or tell that your listening to anything, it’s crazy cool.
