Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii Banana Commander Vision!
Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii Banana Commander Vision!
Sharing some of the amazing times from the Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii that took place April 12 -19th 2015. This was such an awesome time – check out the amazing views (imagine camping just feet from the ocean), all the amazing fruit, super delicious sugar cane and ginger juices, sun gazing, yoga, and even….. SKYDIVING!!! What an epic time!!
Day five at Woodstock Fruit Festival, Hawaii, and honestly, I had been so absorbed in soaking it all in that I barely filmed a thing. No regrets. Some experiences just ask you to put the camera down and be present, and Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii absolutely delivers that kind of energy every single time.
The mornings alone are worth the trip. Fresh coconuts cracked open before most people are even out of bed, sugarcane juice flowing from the moment the sun comes up, a lineup of genuinely happy people going back for seconds and thirds. The sugarcane guy sets up, and it is game over. Whole natural sugarcane juice is surprisingly mineral-rich, beautifully hydrating, and way lower in calories than you might expect. Nothing like what ends up in a bag of white sugar. In its whole form, it is just one of those simple, abundant gifts you do not forget.
Yoga every morning with the incredible Alie kept things grounded. I was out there every couple of days while she was going every single morning, no days off, the real deal. Between the coconuts and the yoga and the sugarcane and the mangoes, it starts to feel less like a festival and more like a glimpse of what life could look like all the time.
The food spread at Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii is its own education. Watching a papaya ripening station in the sun, fruit of every kind laid out and coming into its peak, people connecting over meals, recipes, and lifestyle in a way that just does not happen anywhere else. The community here is real. The conversations are real. The food is outrageously good.
And then there was the skydiving. Jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet, something I had been dreaming about since grade 5. If you ever needed proof that the raw lifestyle keeps you young, vibrant, and up for literally anything, Woodstock Fruit Festival Hawaii might just be your best argument.
